Honeywell's lightweight, aluminum alloy main and nose wheels are manufactured to offer an extended service life and ensure lower cost of ownership. It is also fully certified to meet regulatory and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
Honeywell’s broad range of main wheels, nose wheels and replacement parts are manufactured for extended service life and lower costs of ownership. Designed for a 10,000-cycle life, our commercial wheels incorporate many features for improved thermal management including integrated heat shields and fuse plugs. Additionally, our wheels accommodate either radial or bias tires, based on aircraft or application requirements.
Honeywell’s unique thermal, stress and test capabilities have produced a rim-retained wheel design flying on several military aircraft platforms. This advanced wheel design saves weight, reduced maintenance costs and offers the potential for additional brake life.
